New Website Launch: Global Daily Marketplace

Global Daily Marketplace has been in development for quite some time – and it has taken us many, many months to get to this final stage and launch the website, it has been worth the wait though – and it has been a truely exciting project to work on.

To give you some idea of what Global Daily Marketplace is – it's basically a website that displays stock for sale from UK vehicle dealers all over the UK, and we don't mean just cars – we mean cars, supercars, motorbikes, vans, caravans, motorhomes, farm equipment... the list goes on – in fact just about anything with wheels on!

What makes Global Daily Marketplace so special is that instead of motor dealers having to log into the site and list all their stock themselves, the website uses advanced "web scraper" technology to get the details for all the stock they have for sale and then import that stock directly onto Global Daily Marketplace.

This web scraper technology means that we can teach a "bot" how to browse a dealers website and which important bits to pick out – images, prices, mileage etc and then that information is automatically imported and can be set to run on a schedule so stock is always up to date!
